Coming from Chattanooga

The trip and the follow-ups.

Where: 1502 Dug Gap Road in Dalton, off I-75 at Exit 333.

The drive: 30 minutes from Chattanooga.

In person, in Dalton: your intake, then the 90-day check and a yearly visit.

By telehealth: many follow-ups, once you are an established patient and while you are in Georgia or Tennessee, under the current Terms.

Your physician: Joshua Hare, DO, who signs every protocol.

Two ways in

Checking your levels, or asking for TRT.

Some people want to find out whether low testosterone explains how they feel. Others have read about TRT and want to begin. Both start with the same consultation request, and both get labs before anything is prescribed.

If you want an evaluation
A diagnosis needs two morning blood draws on separate days, both at the clinic in Dalton. The low testosterone treatment page lists the lab tests, the symptoms worth mentioning and the risks of treatment.
If you have already decided on TRT
Wanting TRT is a good reason to ask. Whether it is prescribed is a medical decision: a prescription at Limitless needs a clinical indication named in your chart, and hypogonadism by Endocrine Society criteria is among the indications the practice names. Dr. Hare goes over your results with you first.

Like any therapy, TRT carries risks. Each one is reviewed in detail at the consultation.

If TRT is prescribed

Injections, cream or pellets.

The options are testosterone cypionate injections (into the muscle or under the skin), a testosterone cream, or pellets. Dr. Hare recommends a form based on your lifestyle, how you respond, your lab profile and your own preference. TRT care here includes managing estradiol, monitoring hematocrit (the share of your blood made up of red cells) and adjusting the dose by your free testosterone.

Visits and telehealth

Your intake, the 90-day check and a yearly visit are in Dalton.

You do not need to live in Dalton to be a patient. Many patients drive to the clinic from Chattanooga, Calhoun or the northern Atlanta suburbs. The first appointment, your intake, is in person at the clinic. For hormone care you also come in for the 90-day check and then once a year.

Once you are established as a patient, many follow-up visits can be held by telehealth. The practice’s Terms of Service offer telehealth follow-up to established patients who are physically in Georgia or Tennessee, and say the list of states can change as licensing and medical-board guidance change. Ask the clinic for the current list.

The clinic is a 30-minute drive from Chattanooga. Take I-75 south to Exit 333; the building at 1502 Dug Gap Road is shared with Interventional Pain Consultants, and parking is free.

Monday to Thursday, appointments run from 8 AM to 4 PM. On Fridays they run from 8 AM to noon. The visit page has a Google Maps link for directions, plus the clinic's email address, and you can call 706-529-3698 with a question before you book.

Before you make the drive

Questions to ask about care from a distance.

If you are coming from Chattanooga, these are worth asking when Dr. Hare replies, or at your intake.

  • Is my first injection or pellet placement done at the clinic?
  • If pellets are a possibility for me, how often is a placement needed, and where is it done?
  • Which of my follow-ups would be by telehealth, and which would bring me back to Dalton?
  • How does my medication reach me, and from which pharmacy?
  • What is the membership price, and does it include the lab fees or only the ordering?

What you pay

Membership for the care, the pharmacy for the medicine.

Limitless is a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance. Your membership pays for physician visits, the ordering of your labs and the design of your protocol. Compounded medication is a separate cost that you pay out of pocket, and a state-licensed compounding pharmacy supplies it.

The request form takes no payment. The hormone therapy section of the cost, insurance and payment page lists what to ask about the membership price and the lab fees.
