What every adult male patient gets first.
You can start with what has changed. You do not need to know which service to ask for. Every adult male patient gets a workup that looks at hormones, metabolic health, sleep, medicines and erectile function.
Labs are drawn at the clinic in Dalton and sent to an outside lab.
Hormones, peptides, NAD+ and metabolic health are read together by one physician because they interact.
Hormones & thyroid
Total and free testosterone · SHBG · estradiol (sensitive assay) · LH · FSH · prolactin · TSH · free T4.
About the low-testosterone panel
The low-testosterone panel includes DHEA-S and PSA. It uses two morning draws, fasting, on separate days.
Metabolic health
Comprehensive metabolic panel · lipids · hs-CRP · fasting insulin · HbA1c · ferritin.
Sleep, medicines & circulation
Sleep history, with apnea screening when warranted. A review of antidepressants, finasteride, opioids, beta-blockers and alcohol. A vascular and erectile assessment.
If indicated, the next step may include testosterone optimization, thyroid correction, a weight-loss protocol or a daily tadalafil trial. The care paths below explain these options and their precautions.
Why the workup comes before a libido peptideHow your concern is handled here.
Each section below covers one concern and links to its treatment page or to Dr. Hare's protocol.
Low energy and changes in drive.
Persistent fatigue, lower libido, brain fog, poor sleep, loss of muscle and slower training recovery are among the most common symptoms of low testosterone.
Low testosterone treatmentFor hormone care, the intake, the 90-day check and one visit each year must be in person.
Testosterone evaluation & TRT
If testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is indicated, the format is chosen to fit your lifestyle, response and lab profile. The options are testosterone cypionate injections (the most common), testosterone cream or pellets. The first injection or pellet placement is supervised at the clinic.
Care includes estradiol management, hematocrit monitoring and free testosterone titration.
TRT risks & monitoring
The most common risks are elevated hematocrit, managed with blood donation if needed; changes in estradiol, managed with dose adjustment; and acne or skin changes. Less common risks include changes in fertility and mild prostate enlargement. Every risk is reviewed at your consultation.
The randomized TRAVERSE trial of more than 5,000 men found no increase in major cardiac events with monitored therapy. It also flagged atrial fibrillation, hematocrit and blood-pressure signals, which Limitless monitors on schedule. Read the TRAVERSE safety summary.
Medication sourcing & side-effect reporting
Compounded medications come only from state-licensed 503A and 503B pharmacies with current accreditation and USP <797> sterility documentation. Limitless never uses research-chemical or grey-market sources.
Each reported side effect goes on the practice's register with the substance, pharmacy, lot, dose and outcome. A serious event is reported to the dispensing pharmacy and, voluntarily, to FDA MedWatch.
Changes in erections, urination or desire.
If your sex life has changed, the first question is which part. Erectile function, hormonal drive, sleep and metabolic state, and central desire call for different decisions.
Dr. Hare's daily tadalafil protocolWhich part has changed?
- Erectile function
- Vascular health is assessed, with a PDE5 inhibitor when needed.
- Hormonal drive
- Testosterone, SHBG, estradiol, prolactin and thyroid are checked together.
- Sleep & metabolic state
- Sleep apnea, untreated hypertension, visceral fat, alcohol, stress and antidepressants are part of the review.
- Central desire
- A smaller share of cases. If desire remains the limiting factor after the workup, a libido peptide may be considered where lawful and indicated.
A libido peptide is not on the standing menu. Why the workup comes first.
When daily tadalafil fits
Tadalafil is generic and FDA-approved for daily use in erectile dysfunction and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Dr. Hare's standing protocol is 5 mg once daily, with 2.5 mg for selected patients. A trial is considered when appropriate after evaluation.
Tadalafil precautions
Never combine tadalafil with organic nitrates, including nitroglycerin in any form, isosorbide or amyl nitrite (“poppers”). The combination can cause life-threatening low blood pressure. Tadalafil is also ruled out with severe low blood pressure, an acute coronary syndrome in the past 90 days, severe liver impairment, an inherited degenerative retinal disease such as retinitis pigmentosa, or a past NAION (non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy). If you take an alpha-blocker, your medications are reviewed first.
Common, usually mild effects include headache, flushing, indigestion, back or muscle aches and nasal congestion.
Weight and body composition.
Medical weight care looks at your metabolic health alongside testosterone, thyroid and cortisol. Every program includes an exit and maintenance plan.
Medical weight loss at LimitlessWhat informs your weight-care plan
Baseline testing includes CMP, A1c, fasting insulin, lipids, sex hormones, thyroid, cortisol, hs-CRP, vitamin D and B12, plus body composition with DEXA or InBody.
Tirzepatide (Zepbound) or semaglutide (Wegovy) may be used when they fit your labs and history. The program also screens and treats testosterone, thyroid and cortisol and protects lean mass through protein targets and resistance training.
GLP-1 medicines: who is excluded
Limitless does not prescribe GLP-1 medicines to patients with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN-2, or with active or recent pancreatitis, severe gastroparesis or an active eating disorder. These are not the only exclusions. Your history is reviewed before prescribing.
Recovery and muscle concerns.
Slower recovery or a change in muscle can be part of the hormone evaluation. Whether peptide therapy fits is decided after evaluation.
Peptide therapy in DaltonPeptides prescribed by Dr. Hare
The categories considered here include tissue-repair and recovery peptides, tesamorelin (an FDA-approved GHRH analog), GH-axis support peptides, mitochondrial and metabolic peptides, and NAD+.
The choice of agent, if any, is made individually. Dr. Hare prescribes and monitors the protocol. Compounded medications come only from licensed U.S. pharmacies.
Regulatory status. Several peptide categories are in an evolving 2026 federal regulatory process; an FDA advisory committee reviewed them on July 23–24, 2026. Limitless does not represent any non-approved peptide as FDA-approved.
