IV therapy at Limitless

NAD+ IV, and other IV drips.

NAD+ IV
A loading series of five 750 mg infusions across about two weeks, then maintenance at home. Each infusion runs slowly, over two to three hours. How the series runs
Other IV drips
Limitless also offers glutathione, high-dose vitamin C and amino acid infusions. Which ones fit you is decided at your consultation.
A physician for every IV

NAD+ IV

How the NAD+ loading series runs.

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme your cells rely on to make energy in the mitochondria and to repair DNA. Its levels drop with age. One study measured the drop in human skin (Massudi et al., 2012); another imaged it in the living brain (Zhu et al., 2015).

Intravenous delivery raises circulating NAD+ quickly, so the protocol opens with a cluster of infusions and then holds the level with smaller doses. Dr. Hare uses the loading series as the start of his longevity protocols.

Day 1
Infusion one. Vitals are checked, and the drip starts slowly while you find the rate that feels comfortable. Warmth and flushing are expected.
Day 4
Infusion two. With the first visit behind them, most patients are comfortable at a quicker rate.
Day 7
Infusion three. Many patients first describe clearer focus and better sleep around this visit.
Day 11
Infusion four. Energy and sleep are tracked at this visit; by now, better sleep is what patients mention most often.
Day 14
Infusion five, the last of the loading series. Your at-home maintenance plan is set up at this visit.

Georgia's IV rules

What happens before any NAD+ is mixed.

The Georgia Composite Medical Board's position statement of May 7, 2026 treats an IV as the practice of medicine. It bars generic standing orders, and it requires a prescriber to take your history and examine you before anything is mixed or given. The Board started unannounced inspections of IV clinics and med spas in August 2026.

An order written for you
Dr. Hare signs an individual NAD+ order, and your chart records the indication and his reasoning on the dose. It is not a standing order.
Exam and labs first
Dr. Hare takes your history, examines you, and reviews your baseline blood pressure and screening labs (a comprehensive metabolic panel and a hematocrit) before infusion one is compounded. Significant liver or kidney compromise means a modified protocol, or no NAD+ at all.
Licensed pharmacies only
NAD+ is compounded only by licensed 503A or 503B pharmacies, accredited by their state board and documented for sterility under USP <797>.
Every reaction recorded
Each infusion is logged with its pharmacy, lot, dose and drip rate, along with how you tolerated it. Serious events go to the pharmacy that dispensed the batch and, voluntarily, to the FDA's MedWatch program. With the lot number on every record, anyone who received a problem batch can be contacted the same day.

Comfort and safety

What an NAD+ infusion feels like.

IV NAD+ brings on a few sensations that are expected. They follow the speed of the drip, which is why each infusion runs slowly and why the rate is adjusted to you.

Warmth and flushing
A wave of warmth through the chest or face is the most common sensation. It rises, levels off and fades.
Pressure, nausea, jitters
When NAD+ goes in too fast, patients can feel chest pressure, nausea or a fight-or-flight sensation. A slow drip is how these are avoided.
A light head
Lightheadedness or an unsettled stomach can come with a higher rate, and an empty stomach makes it more likely. Eat a normal meal before you come in.
The fix is a slower drip
Say so the moment anything goes past mild. The infusion is slowed, and the feeling usually eases within a minute or two.
Tired afterward
Some patients feel tired after an infusion, the first one especially. Keep the hour after it free.

Who should not have NAD+ IV

Before your NAD+ order is signed, we screen for significant liver disease, kidney impairment, active cancer and certain heart conditions. Pregnancy is an absolute contraindication.

Common questions

Before your first IV.

Do you offer IV drips other than NAD+?

Yes. Besides NAD+, Limitless offers glutathione, high-dose vitamin C and amino acid infusions. Which ones fit you is decided at your consultation.

How long does an NAD+ infusion take?

Plan on two to three hours in the chair. The drip runs slowly on purpose, because speed is what brings on the flushing. Most patients read, take calls or work on a laptop; one arm is busy, and the clinic has Wi-Fi.

Does an NAD+ IV hurt?

Placing the IV is an ordinary needle stick. The infusion itself brings warmth, flushing and sometimes mild pressure, and slowing the drip eases all of them.

When will I notice a difference?

In our practice, most patients report clearer thinking and better sleep by the third infusion. Energy and recovery build through the rest of the loading series and settle in during maintenance.

What happens after the five infusions?

You move to maintenance at home: a small subcutaneous self-injection of 100–200 mg. You learn the technique in the clinic before you start.

Is NAD+ IV covered by insurance?

No. Insurers do not pay for NAD+ IV, so it is paid out of pocket.

Can I buy NAD+ online and skip the clinic?

A seller offering compounded NAD+ for IV use directly to consumers, without a prescription, is working outside the legal framework, and you would have no way to check its sterility, its dose or where it came from.
