WEIGHT CARE HORMONE CARE
Both programs are coordinated in one chart.

Weight care and hormone care,
reviewed together.

If weight gain in perimenopause or menopause has you looking for help, Limitless offers both programs. Patients in the weight program can also be on bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT).

Medical weight loss

Your labs and history guide drug selection. GLP-1 medicines include Zepbound (tirzepatide) and Wegovy (semaglutide), prescribed when they fit.

Every weight program also includes testosterone, thyroid and cortisol screened and treated; protein targets and resistance training to protect lean mass; and an exit and maintenance plan set at intake and revisited every six months.

The medical weight-loss program

Women's hormone therapy

Perimenopausal symptom burden is one of the clinical indications for hormone care at Limitless. No prescription is written unless its clinical indication is named in your chart.

Options include estradiol, progesterone, DHEA and physiologic testosterone, with integrated DIM where appropriate. Pellet, cream and oral forms are available. Dr. Hare builds and signs off on each hormone protocol and records the dosing rationale.

Women's hormone therapy

Each treatment has its own clinical indication, reviewed with your labs and history.

Your history and labs come
before a prescription.

Your new-patient consultation is in person in Dalton. In both programs, lab work comes before any prescription. For hormone care, a physician reviews your results with you, alongside your history and goals.

Those results are read against functional-optimal ranges, and every hormone dose change is based on data and recorded in your chart.

Prescribing criteria and safety

GLP-1 medicines

FDA-labeled criteria for the obesity indication of Wegovy and Zepbound are a BMI of 30 or more, or 27 or more with at least one weight-related condition: type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, dyslipidemia (abnormal blood fats), obstructive sleep apnea or non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

Limitless does not prescribe GLP-1 medicines to patients who are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, or who have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN-2, active or recent pancreatitis, severe gastroparesis or an active eating disorder.

It also declines to prescribe them for a BMI under 25 with no metabolic disease, or for short-term cosmetic loss without a commitment to ongoing therapy and lifestyle architecture. That is not every exclusion.

How candidacy is assessed

Hormone therapy

Each reported adverse event is logged with its substance, pharmacy, lot, dose and outcome. Any serious adverse event is reported to the dispensing pharmacy and, voluntarily, to FDA MedWatch.

Compounded hormone medications are made only by 503A or 503B pharmacies licensed by their state, currently accredited and documented for sterility under USP <797>. They ship directly to you from the dispensing pharmacy.
