PRP
Treatments

Your own biology — concentrated and redirected. Platelet-rich plasma therapy harnesses your body's most powerful healing agents to regenerate tissue, restore hair, and accelerate recovery.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy uses a concentrated preparation of your own blood — rich in growth factors and healing proteins — to stimulate tissue regeneration in targeted areas of the body.

Platelets are best known for their role in clotting, but they also carry a powerful payload of growth factors — proteins that signal the body to initiate repair, recruit stem cells, and build new tissue. By concentrating these platelets from your own blood and injecting them precisely where healing is needed, PRP therapy amplifies your body's natural regenerative capacity.

Because PRP is derived from your own blood, the risk of allergic reaction or rejection is virtually eliminated. At Limitless, all PRP procedures are performed by Dr. Hare using advanced centrifugation systems to ensure consistent platelet concentration and clinical-grade outcomes.

PRP applications

Joint & Musculoskeletal Regeneration
PRP injections for knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, and ankle joints affected by osteoarthritis, tendinopathy, or ligament injury. Particularly effective for patients seeking to delay or avoid surgical intervention. Synergistic with Dr. Hare's interventional pain expertise.
Hair Restoration
Scalp PRP injections stimulate dormant hair follicles, extend the growth phase of active follicles, and improve hair thickness and density. Effective for both men and women experiencing androgenic alopecia or diffuse thinning. Typically 3–4 sessions over 4–6 months.
Soft Tissue & Wound Healing
Accelerated healing for muscle tears, chronic tendon injuries, surgical recovery, and wound healing. PRP delivers growth factors directly to damaged tissue, shortening recovery timelines and improving functional outcomes.

The PRP process

01
Blood draw
A small amount of your blood — typically 30–60ml — is drawn in our clinic. The process is identical to a standard blood draw and takes only a few minutes.
02
Centrifugation & preparation
Your blood is placed in a specialized centrifuge that separates the platelet-rich plasma from red blood cells. The resulting PRP concentrate contains 3–5x the platelet concentration of normal blood, along with a rich array of growth factors.
03
Precision injection
Dr. Hare administers the PRP to the target area using ultrasound guidance where appropriate, ensuring precise placement for maximum therapeutic effect. Local anesthetic is used to minimize discomfort.
04
Recovery & follow-up
Most patients resume normal activities within 24–48 hours. Mild soreness at the injection site is common and typically resolves quickly. Follow-up appointments assess response and determine if additional sessions are indicated. Results typically develop over 4–12 weeks as tissue regeneration progresses.
